NHS Kingsley Green Hospital
NAK Access Solutions were appointed to carry out a full external and internal façade cleaning package at NHS Kingsley Green Hospital. The works formed part of an ongoing maintenance programme and required a highly controlled, carefully planned approach due to the sensitive nature of the site and its occupants.
The scope of works included cleaning of external timber panels and rendered façade areas across the full perimeter of the building, as well as the cleaning of 12 internal courtyards. Given the scale and complexity of the site, a detailed planning process was carried out in close coordination with the building management team to ensure all works were delivered safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to patients, staff, and visitors.
Due to the operational environment of a live healthcare facility, significant emphasis was placed on access planning, safety controls, and communication throughout the project. NAK worked closely with the site team to develop a structured programme of works, ensuring each area was completed in a controlled sequence with appropriate segregation and safeguarding measures in place at all times.
Once the schedule was agreed, our operatives carried out the works methodically across all designated areas. Specialist cleaning techniques were used to restore the timber and render surfaces, delivering a consistent and high-quality finish across both external elevations and internal courtyard spaces.
Despite the scale of the project and the sensitivity of the environment, the works were delivered smoothly and efficiently. Careful coordination and attention to detail ensured minimal disruption to hospital operations while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety throughout.
The project was completed successfully, achieving excellent visual results and significantly improving the overall appearance of the facility.
